Aventura Mall
If you're looking for shopping heaven, look no further! After going through a multimillion dollar renovation, Aventura Mall is open for business and it's time to party.  The mall is located in Aventura, FL and is within a short drive from Miami, but it also, very conveniently, provides free shuttle services to its entrance from Miami's Beach hotels and downtown Miami. Mall hours are from 10am to 9pm Mondays to Saturdays and 12 noon to 8pm on Sundays. With more than 250 stores within its walls, this place is literally a shopping theme park. Excellent shopping, dining, live entertainment and not to mention a 24-screen AMC Theater. As you approach the mall you will begin to feel an excitement simply by looking at the architecture, it is not designed to be a 'traditional' mall, it's entire structure and also the facilities expresses the mall's policy of "one-stop entertainment and shopping". The entire mall is housed in a 2.3 million square foot complex and even has a large indoor playground for kids, Adventurer's Cove. If you want a clue of what stores you will find there, here are some glittery names to catch your attention: Burdines, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Lord & Taylor, JC Penney, Sears, Vertigo, Pottery Barn, Banana Republic, Restoration Hardware, Crate & Barrel, Gap, Coach, Sephora, Mayor's Jewelers, Waldenbooks, BeBe, Aveda, FAO Schwarz, Build-A-Bear Workshop, J. Crew, Unisa and countless more. If this list is not enough, wait till you see their business directory, and even as you read this, they are in the process of adding additional stores for you convenience and pleasure. As you walk in, make sure you pick up one of the greatest gift the mall has for you, the "Ultimate Shopping Folio". The folio includes a welcome letter, directory of services, and the best part of it all, a 20% discount card plus a booklet of coupons. The service is beyond comparison, and the atmosphere is fun and relaxing.
Dining is an endless possibility of numerous restaurants to choose from, visit the Piazza and partake of some dishes from well known chains, delis and a food court.  Having a hard time adjusting to the many things you can do at the mall? Need to take a break? Head on over to the Adventurers Cove with your young ones and let them frolic around a giant playground with a nautical theme, and the coolest part about the playground is that not only is it the largest playground of it's kind in a South Florida mall, it has a life-size ship! If you have additional time, be sure to check out the mall events calendar, you might have a bit of luck and watch a live show, a concert or other events aimed at involving all customer participation. Some of the events they have there include such things as Farmer's Market, Good Neighbor Day, Sesame Street Coloring Contest, Reading in the Mall, Family Fun Adventure and Pet Days. The events are always changing of course and the above is merely a sample of what they offer throughout the year, the best place to check out their daily events is the main help desk. They also have a car show, a health and fitness demo, and on any holiday or special occasions such as Fathers Day and Mothers Day, special events will be held to commemorate the occasion. Going back to the shopping aspect of it, the mall offers moderately high priced merchandise as you can tell from the brand name stores that offer their products there. With the 20% discount card and savings coupons that they offer, it is a sure bet that you will be able to save money during your first visit. The mall is extremely popular among families and large groups of tourists so do not be surprised to see a large number of people frequenting it on a regular basis. Even if you do not like shopping, the Aventura Mall will have something for you to do; it has everything for everyone from kids to elders.
